In the northern part of Croatia, in beautiful Međimurje County, you can find ESN Čakovec.

Erasmus Student Network Čakovec was founded in December 2019, as a Network of International Friends North. Later on, we were accepted into the full membership of the Erasmus Student Network in May 2021. Our goal is to represent the rights of all international students in Međimurje County, as well as to provide them with assistance in integration and times of need. Also, we are promoting the Erasmus + program and its values ​​and benefits among Croatian students. 

We currently have 14 active members. You can choose to become a part of the PR team, Social Inclusion team, Event team or Intercultural Exchange Team. Each volunteer is trying their best to grow a valuable and friendly community by providing incoming students with various activities and most importantly – smiles. 😁

Our Local Board consists of three members:

• Robert Radiković as President
• Anamarija Feher as Vice-President
• Martina Nikolić as Treasurer

We maintain very good cooperation with our Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec, also with the Faculty of Teacher Education in Čakovec and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.

Our small but warm community will provide you with the best experience in the North part of Croatia by giving you the opportunity to explore rich vineyards, go kayaking in river Mura, go cycling on more than 200 kilometers long bicycle route, or simply just drink coffee with you, when you do not feel like drinking it alone.
